Is that an Apache? Back when I had my Corvair Inwould buy parts from a guy who DD’s a four door. It was cherry.

My ‘66 GMC (non apache) is a longbed fleetside. It looks like shit and the chrome trim is long gone though. I actually just saw a mint colored one this morning which was in pristine shape.

1st gen 4-door Corvairs are my father-in-law’s favorite classic car. I’m trying to convince him to buy one. They’re cheap. He can afford to treat himself.

That’s an extremely affordable favourite classic. I’m always tempted when I see one, and still kick myself for not having the cash when a wagon showed up for sale once

Yeah, it really is. It’s amazing how cheap a really nice one can be. There’s a guy in my town who DD’s one, even in the winter.
